The Importance of Choosing a Continuing
Care Retirement Community
Our residents choose Palm Village because they feel secure that their needs for housing, residential services and nursing care will be provided on our campus, usually for their lifetime. This type of residential community is called a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC). A California state criteria unique to a CCRC must be met and monitored to maintain this designation in a retirement community.
With entrance and monthly fees, a contract for retirement services along with a promise to provide care and preferred access to other care levels is established. As advocates in senior health care issues, the staff of Palm Village seeks to provide for the physical, mental and spiritual well being of each resident.
Palm Village is a not-for-profit organization, and provides the benefits of the Living Legacy Fund which offers assistance to those who have outlived their financial resources. It is through the generous support of individuals and businesses as well as estate planning that the Living Legacy Fund continues to thrive.
